Our Visionary Founder
Marcha Chaudry, Esq. is a regulatory attorney and founder of Equity Wellness Co, a consultancy advising FDA-regulated consumer product companies on U.S. federal and state compliance, advertising and claims strategy, and global market access. She builds the regulatory infrastructure that supports brands from early product development through launch, retail expansion, investor readiness, and exit.
With more than a decade of experience at the intersection of law, science, and consumer protection, Marcha played a direct role in the advocacy that produced the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA), providing expert testimony before Congress and the FDA on ingredient safety and the need for stronger oversight. In 2019, she led a national coalition that successfully pushed to stop the sale of contaminated talcum-based products posing documented health risks to consumers.
She serves on industry boards and regulatory committees focused on cosmetics and FDA-regulated products, is regularly consulted by The Business of Fashion for expert commentary on beauty and FDA policy, and her work has been featured on Good Morning America, Vogue Business, and HBO.
